I have had customers reply to this page almost immediately in respect to the bad business practices that takes place. Claims of bad vehicle that they will not take responsibility for all the way down to making a deal and breaking it which I personally experienced and reason I helped advocate this site. I don't want people to not go to this dealership just want them to be very aware of practices I have experienced along with what others have to say from theirs.
You have to really watch these guys if you have to deal with them. You would think a company that bought out price would do a better job to uphold their name other than poor customer service and lack of remorse. I hope that you will either read this and choose to go else where or have better luck than the rest of us have had (In particular watch GM. I wouldn't let the sales staff talk to them alone. Follow them in while talking after all it is the deal you are making!!!). I am a middle aged successful business man that has worked and earned a very nice living for myself. I expected to be treated as such, not as a person with a price tag on my head. Once they have the money or realize they can make more money they will back out by breaking any deals made because sales flunky 1 ,sales manager/ internet sales flunky and GM refuse to be man enough to own what they say... I am leaving this blog open along with publications to this site to help protect others from making the same mistake.
I wish you a blessed day and good luck on your new car search.
I was looking at buying a f250 cash the first sales guy tells me he doesn't have what I am looking for but will call me if he does. 10 minutes after leaving his lot he calls and tells me he has what I am looking for but it is going to need a power boost cooler replaced (cost of a boost cooler is no more than 600$ anywhere). I explained I was reluctant to purchase anything that was not at 100% before buying the sales manager tells me the normal sales pitch of it will be 100% I will even sign my name next to it (like that amounts to anything). They were asking 14,500 +tax etc..
I told him I could to 13,500 out the door he said he couldn't do that but he could do 13,900 + tax etc...( which is about 15,600 out of the door) I told him I would have to look around it was out of my range for a truck that is not even 100% running properly. He said the mechanic has looked at it twice and is 100% confident that is all it needed. and I turned and walked away because he was becoming very belligerent. Which made the sales manager guy mad. (who cared its called negotiating. And he is in sales?????)
I talked to the sales guy I was originally working with and told him I would go with the 13,900 + tax if that is the best price I could get on this truck that doesn't even run right. He told me he could make it work if I came in the next business day. So I did. I took off work had cash in hand to give 13,900 +tax etc... and that's when everything that was said was muted and turned away.
When I first got there the sales manager guy tells me he already marked and selling it to wholesale which the day before told me he was going to fix it and put it n the lot for 17,000. Understanding he was still mad about me not listening to the crap he was talking about the day before I just decided to deal with the original sales guy. Original sales guy starts talking about he was tired of the way business was being run there and explained that he was sorry but the GM and internet sales guy are buddies and they will make the same amount of profit by letting it go wholesale and not fixing the truck. I said WAIT this is what the deal was! I took off work and came up here with cash like we talked about and now all of the sudden the deal is off??? at this point he is frustrated, I am frustrated and he leaves to speak to the sales manager guy and the GM. 20 minutes later he comes back to act like he was doing me a favor and the gm would like the mechanic to look at the truck for the 3rd time. I said wait! why would he do that if the last time I was in here he already looked at it twice came back and checked everything out clean and had no problems but the cooler. But now all of the sudden when they already priced it out to a wholesale shop (which they were not going to do) they want to explain how there are a lot of other problems. What they didn't understand is they keep on contradicting themselves. The sales manager guy already assured me nothing was wrong and even offered me to put his rinky dink name next to it if I bought it that day. Sure enough he comes back and tells me one of the gaskets has blown (BULL CRAP) on top of a couple of other potential issues and the cooler they couldn't let it go for that price.
I knew at that point the GM sales manager / internet sales flunky and the lot salesman where all after a buck other than keeping their word to potential buyers
